This garden is alive, and that is why it never stands still.
Living plants grow, change, and ask for patience — and dogs become part of the space, shaping paths, choices, and care.
I began with small plants, bush peonies, and young trees, waiting for them to grow in their own time. Today, there are many trees, each one marking a moment of trust and waiting.
The garden changes constantly. It is never the same garden twice.
It grows through observations, adjustments, ideas tried and undone, lessons learned, and choices made again — always guided by experience, presence, and respect for what lives here.
WINTER in my garden
Winter here is not a moment — it is a season that stays. Cold, snow, and frozen ground shape the garden for four to five months, from December until sometime in April.
That is why evergreen trees and shrubs matter.
They hold the space when everything else rests, giving form, depth, and life to the garden even in silence.
Winter is not emptiness here.
It is structure, stillness, and a different kind of presence.
Living plants shape the garden every day.
Trees grow, seasons pass, and patience becomes part of the design.
Dogs are part of this space too.
Their presence influences paths, choices, and how the garden is allowed to live.
This garden began with almost nothing — a lawn and a single peony.
Everything else has been created by hand, slowly and with care.
The garden is never the same.
It changes through observation, mistakes, new ideas, and quiet corrections — always becoming something new.
About my photography
I love photographing plants and flowers as they are — growing, changing, and living in their natural space.
